You can read Stagiunea without an account and without cookies. We don't ask for your name, we don't follow you across the web, and we don't sell data to anyone.

We process two things: traffic statistics that can't tell us who you are and, only if you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address.

Stagiunea is an independent project, made in Bucharest. For any question about your data, write to the address at the bottom of this page. A person will answer.

We want to know which pages get read, where visitors come from and which ticket links get used, so we can see what's worth improving. We use PostHog, hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt) and set up to work without cookies: it writes nothing to your browser.

What gets recorded: the page you opened, the site you came from, your browser, device and screen type, your browser language, clicks and scrolling, loading speed and any errors. Your IP address is used once, on PostHog's servers, to compute an anonymous visitor code, and then removed: it isn't kept with the data, and the statistics don't show which city you're in.

The code is computed with a key that changes every day and is then deleted, so it can't be traced back to you, and tomorrow you'll look like a new visitor. Statistics are kept for one year at most. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

If you subscribe, we keep your email address, the language you were reading in and the date you subscribed. That's all. We use them only to send you the programme.

The data sits in a Supabase database in the European Union (Ireland). The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time with a message to the address below. When you unsubscribe, we delete your address.

At the moment you subscribe, your IP address is held for a minute at most, in the server's memory only, to stop automated sign-ups. We don't store it.

The site sets no cookies. That's why you don't see a window asking for your consent: there's nothing to consent to.

Only one thing can be written to your browser, and only if you press the theme switch: your choice between light and dark, kept in the browser's local storage under the name "theme". It stays with you, never reaches us, and you can delete it at any time from your browser settings.

Show posters load straight from the venues' own websites. As with any image on the web, their server receives your IP address and browser type; we don't tell it which page you came from.

Ticket links and links to the venues' websites lead away from Stagiunea. From there on, their rules apply, not ours.

The site is hosted by Vercel, a company based in the United States. Like any server, it keeps technical logs (IP address, page requested, time), used for security and troubleshooting. The transfer is covered by the safeguards the GDPR requires (standard contractual clauses).

You can ask at any time what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, hand it over in a format you can take elsewhere, restrict its processing, or stop processing it. We answer within 30 days.

About the traffic statistics there's little we can tell you: they're built precisely so that we don't know which visitor you are.
